No story surprises - although we know what happened it didn't matter. The acting and script excellent and heart warming.
One of those movies that make you happy to have invested your time. I still am walking around my house thinking about it and smiling. Diane Ladd - never better! John Malkovitch - perfect!!
This is one I can't wait to own and will watch over and over again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Acting Yes - Story NO

I was so disappointed. The friend I came with was clueless as to what the story was and I felt her annoyance. The acting was great but even I left unable to exp-lain what had gone on. Not worth the ticket prise. What a waste

The movie opened a week ago today.
I have seen it three times so far. It is one of those rare films where you leave just simply feeling good.
Maybe movies will find a renewed audience for musicals instead of all the gore.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
