As good as the old Series

I really can't see why this movie has gotten bad reviews from professional critics. It has down time from action (hello! It's over 2 hours long. It can't ALL be action) to actually tell the story.
The movie actually pays a lot of tribute to the older cartoon, the new cartoon, and the original 80's movie without getting corny. That's a very delicate balance that extreme hard to do.
I give it a HUGE thumbs up!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
