I feel I must qualify myself before providing what is always a very subjective take on this, or any, movie. I am hopelessly obsessed with Indy, have loved the character since I was a child, and been waiting for this day for most my life. So yes, my expectations were high, but recent reviews help to temper what I was going to go in and expect of this movie. What I got was not pretty. This movie just plain sucked. It really ruined how I feel about Indiana Jones. And it wasn't just the subject matter at the end, it was the giant pile of trash that was the script, the horrible dialogue, and the way the movie failed completely to make me care about Indy. The other movies had me on the edge of my seat, caring and concerned about what was going to happen to Indy. This was such a grossly over-bloated, CGI filled piece of garbage that recycled most of the gags from the other movies that I left wanting to cry. Or at least swear off Lucas movies forever. How could you (Spielberg, Lucas, Koepp, and Ford) ruin a franchise with this cr*p?
