I must say that I think the movie was god in itself. However, the main problems I saw were that I think the theater system was slightly messed up which made it hard to watch in several places. I think that this might have affected a lot of other viewers as well. I am never too biased about keeping true to a cartoon and judged this movie based on special effects which were decent but limited due to the screen. Also, I think personally that Real3D is now overshadowed by IMAX 3D and the movie would most likely have looked better in IMAX 3D. I would recommend this movie with those caveats in mind...
This movie has set a standard that will change the way we see movies! I was there at 12:01 and was ready to see what James Cameron had created. Awesome and wicked cool do not do it justice. Bring on the 3D TV's!
I saw this movie at midnight when it opened. I do not ever try to have an expectation of what a film should be and this was the case with this one as well. I really hate the remarks that it did not live up to the last movies or it was not as good as X (fill in X here). This movie was made to entertain and I personally was entertained along with most of the crowd that showed up. The special effects were great and contrary to what some say, I personally thought the dialogue was great. Everything happened in a well thought out sequence and told a story in an entertaining way. I for one am glad to have seen this movie and know that others will enjoy it as well.
