This was not as enjoyable as the previous entries in the series, however; hardcore fans will still enjoy the references to previous films. Additional use of modern day gadgets as found footage devices lend more believability to the action. Previous movies have dealt with creepy attics, scary basements, and ominous mother-in-laws. This one has the abandoned house across the street going for it. If you liked the others, give it a try.
