This movie certainly earns its R Rating. That being said, it is hilarious. One could loosely describe it as a female version of "The Hangover"-----the humor is similar. Kristen Wiig absolutely shines as somewhat befuddled, but loveable Annie. A must see!
I am a fan of the horror genre, but this movie was a pleasant surprise. The director seemed to begin by making the movie a work of art and then proceeding on with the plot. The costuming and staging were wonderful. The story, though formulaic, was interesting and kept the viewer guessing. Seyfried, as usual, did a great job and the supporting actors were well cast. I would definitely recommend this movie and will own it on DVD.
This movie is a must see, and this particular review is from one who doesn't usually care for action movies. The special effects are awesome and the acting is superb. I will own it when it comes out on DVD.
The movie was a good follow up for those who saw the original. Beautiful special effects, outstanding music and good acting. Olivia Wilde did a great job with her character. Jeff Bridges did his usual good job. Definitely worth seeing and I will most likely purchase the DVD.
This is the second time I have watched it on IMAX 3D and I am amazed at the things I missed the first time around. I guess I was so awed by the movie spectacle that I totally missed important statements and incidents within the film. See it again to assure that you've had the benefit of getting all you can from this movie.
The movie stays fairly faithful to the book. Tatum does a good job as the man torn between love and honor. Seyfried is, as usual, excellent. I will definitely purchase this one when the DVD is offered.
This movie is cute, romantic, and funny. It is an excellent date night film. This is a good vehicle for Kristen Bell and should earn her more movie roles.
This was definitely a formulaic coming of age flick. However, the actors (not just the two fabulous leads) completely carried this thing and made it work. The '80s setting was well done and the musical numbers were aptly chosen. I will own it on DVD.
The movie was perfectly cast (including the antagonists), the special effects were wonderful, and the film captured the atmosphere created in the first book of the series. Kristen Stewart shines as Bella. I was sorry to see it end. I will see it again on the big screen and buy DVD on the day of release.
