Awesome movie -- finally one that gets back the comic book Batman I grew up with. Batman with a darker steamier side -- the sacrificial good guy misunderstood and forced to be the do-gooder in the shadows whether he wants to or not. The many comic book profile shots the director did throughout the movie were reminiscent of true comic book illustrations, moody, dark and slightly sinister, yet provocative and portraying the deep emotion of the Bruce Wayne "behind the mask". Prepare to sit for a while as it's a long movie but worth every kernel of popcorn and every single sip of your freezy drink.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
