Well, James Cameron has done it again. Amazing special effects--CGI has replaced the actor in many respects. I am far from a SCI/FI person and went to apease my friends. This was amazing and the 3D really made the film. Definitely a Oscar in the waiting for Special Effects. Sigorney Weaver was less than impressive and this may show that this will be the start of her swan song, due to the fact that she was upstaged by the CGI characters. all in all a fantastic film.
Fantastic Cast ...thats where it ends. The story line had promise but quickly lost momentum. The Cast was superb and would have over shadowed the mediocrity of the movie had they a story line to live up to their acting capabilities.
OK right off the bat....I am a Chef. So I had a little bit of self interest in seeing this story. I enjoyed the movie and though it was more of a girls night out movie theme, it really was a great representation of Julia's time in France (based upon her autobiography "Julia Child My time in Paris)
