This is a great movie that would have gotten 5 stars if they would have edited it a little. I could have done without the "Tonto telling the story to the kid" portion of the movie, but other than that it was GREAT. Depp and Hammer are both excellent as Tonto and The Lone Ranger with a great story and beautifully shot scenes, with plenty of action to go along with some of the most thoughtful movie moments I've seen in awhile. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone looking for a summer blockbuster to escape from the heat and forget your troubles for a few hours.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, beautifully shot
