Outstanding cast, beautiful music, excellent set -- really glad they decided to do this one. The Greeks invented melodrama and tragedy and this opera captures it all. The behind the scenes info and interviews add a lot for the audience.

Excellent Spec Effs, Good Acting, Confusing Plot

Unlike Memento, I won't need to watch it again just to try to understand, this movie was fun to watch and had some great tags (like the Edith Piaf music). Even though the plot, i.e., dream levels, is often confusing, it doesn't detract from the enjoyment of the visuals. Seeing movies in IMAX is cool. We enjoyed it a lot.

Great Imax 3D Works WITH the Movie and Audience

Not the greatest sci-fi story I've seen, but the special effects, in fact the whole cinematography effort, is clearly Oscar worthy. I'll get the DVD just to see the "making of the movie" extras!
