Great Fun

Just good old fashion fun to watch. The addition of the 3D & IMAX, as well as the mixing of the sound, really enhanced the experience. The hair on my head was literally shaking! The CGI Jeff Bridges is amazing! There are many scenes where you cannot tell that it is CGI, it looks so real. Story line is ok. Bridges does come off as Dude quite a bit, man, but that's cool. It would have been classic if he had a White Russian in his hand!
Go see it. These nerds that think they are hollywood critics with all of their fancy words and self-righteous commentary are the same people that selected Chariots of Fire as the Oscar winning Best Picture!
Just go, sit down, and enjoy the ride.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Don't wait for this one to come to DVD. You need to see it on the big screen, in 3D. The visuals are unlike anything you've ever seen! The music is very good. The acting is (as proved at last night's Oscars) not award-winning. But, it will keep you glued to your seat and entertain you, and engulf your senses.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Gets better with time...

Denzel has a presence that cannot be denied on the screen. This movie, albeit a bit slow at times, is very strong and very creative. What starts to feel like a MadMax re-do ends up with a message and, unlike most "post-apocalyptic" movies, an ending with hope. And, a big surprise at the end, which I will not give away. This movie and Denzel's performance (he's one of those actors that don't feel like they're acting), will ramble through your brain and your gut for days. It gets better the more you think about it, until you decide you can't wait for it to come out on DVD to watch it again. Don't miss it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
