Read the book instead

I enjoyed the movie, but the book is 100x better. The movie left out too much. I wish they would have kept to the story line; the preacher and the cause of the fire, the father boarding up the piano, more about Blaze, etc. I think the best acting in the movie was done by the little brother. He was spot on and really showed his emotions the best.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
