Pretty good remake

this was my grandson's first western and he really enjoyed it. It was a good remake but no one can play Rooster Cogburn like John Wayne! Coen Brothers did a good job with making it as authentic as possible.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Excellent Movie!!

This is one of the best movies I have seen! The special effects are beyond excellent. The story line is as old as time -- kind of like when the white man raided the native american lands for their own greed......I highly recommend this movie to anyone who wants to see one about a good fight, a love story and a somewhat happy ending, all in one movie!
