A oversize portion of sweet revenge

Mel gives a great performance of a gritty, Boston cop who's whole life is sent crashing down. His pursuit of the "bad guys" is unrelenting. Not just a movie filled with violence, but with moments that will get you misty eyed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
