I too, enjoyed reading the books as much as my 16 year old son's girlfriend and was looking forward to seeing the movie.
I agree the chemistry between Bella and Edward could be felt in the theater, I thought much of the movie was "cheesy and awkard."
I thought some of the special effects weren't realistic. The fight scenes were good.
I hope that the next ones are better done.
