Rivoting Performances!

The hype was well deserved! Alicia Keys gave a stunning performance as June! She was very tuned in to her character. Queen Latifah also gave a performance beyond her years as August Boatwright. She was phenomenal! Sophie Okonedo and Jennifer Hudson gave outstanding performances as well. Dakota Fanning, I thought, was Oscar-worthy though. She is a seasoned actress in the body of a young girl. This Sue Monk Kidd story comes to life with each of these ladies performing in their roles very well. I thought it was an awesome movie, and I'd recommend it to everyone!

Better Than the 1st!

I truly enjoyed this movie! Ed Norton was wonderful and the graphics weren't too over the top. There were several action scenes and I like the fact that the Hulk wasn't dominating. Liv Tyler was OK. All in all, this movie was much better than the first and 10 times better than I expected it to be.
