Doesn't live up to the hype

I really wanted to like this movie. I love a good creepy movie and perfer it to the gory movies. You know, the really good ones that mess with your mind. I was actually looking forward to being so frightened that I would have to leave the lights on that night, but alas that wasn't the case. The movie started out slow, but I sat patiently waiting for something ... anything ... that would really scare me, other than a couple of loud noises to make me jump, nothing to mess with the mind ever happened. Left the theatre disappointed and went home and slept like a baby.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
