My 11yr old daughter and I went to the movie yesterday with hoping it was going to be a movie and not another musical. I thought Miley Cyrus proofed that she could act as well as sing without being Hannah Montana. It was a well written and theatrical production with real life situations that arise today. I recommend divorced mothers to check out the overall movie before taking your daughter to see it.; the story is very heartbreaking.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
