I almost didn't see this movie because I thought it would be too upsetting. I am just a few years younger than MJ, so like hundreds of thousands of people around the world, I grew up listening to him. And pretending that I could dance like him. Right.
I loved seeing how involved he was in every aspect of a big tour production. His artistry. His perfectionism. All the while, he stayed sweet and thankful and gracious to all of those around him.
To me, the biggest thrill of the show was to watch the reaction of his dancers when they were shown in the audience while Michael performed. These are all tremendously talented artists and they were literally blown away by what they were witnessing.
See this movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
