Helps to read the book...

This movie was good but I probably would not have liked it as much if I had not read the book first. I knew all the characters and either already liked (or loved to hate them). The book is so well written that you know what is going on with all of the characters and even get to look into Edward and Bella's thoughts. Some of the plot probably seemed a little thin and the intense romance from the book got lost in the movie for the same reason.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
