This movie is a MUST SEE for all true STAR TREK fans! I went expecting to see another Star Trek "wanna be" movie, but saw an excellent original movie that takes us back to the beginning, but in a refreshing way that introduces/reintroduces us to the original characters, superbly played by a cast that obviously spent a lot of time studying the way their character was portrayed by the actor playing that part in the original Star Trek series. And, they did NOT disappoint! The characters were recognizable, yet not contrived, and portrayed in a manner that made the transition totally believable. This is one of the best Star Trek movies to come out since the original series ended and perhaps even one of the best movies you will see this summer!
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, followed original theme
Cons long but not overbearing!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
