This movie has the potential to be very good, starting with the entire background story of Clark Kent, or "Cal." And I think that was necessary to the Superman series I assume they are planning to make. Hints can be seen throughout the movie, like Lexcorp vehicles, buildings, etc. They just tried to fit too much into the plot, the characters lacked development; especially the love of Lois and Clark. I felt like that came out of nowhere. Special effects were great! There was just a lot of them, and if think if they would have spent more time on making sure the plot flowed nicely rather than how many skyscrapers can come crashing down on top of innocent citizens, this movie would've been in better shape. Nonetheless, Henry Cavill is the epitome of the classic Superman, no actor could've done better. Amy Adams can use a bit of work for Lois, she is a very strong character that must be portrayed by a strong woman. Overall, this movie is entertaining, and will keep viewers engaged until the very end. I'm looking forward to the sequel.
