Overall this was a very good movie! There were some things that annoyed me however. I've warned you before I am going to spoil some of the movie so avert your eyes now if you don't want to know details!
1) Amy Adams is not a great pick for Louise Lane. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Amy Adams, but she was entirely too timid to play LL, who I see as more of a feisty, independent lady.
2) The love story was very underdeveloped. I'm a girl..... so of course I like love stories. And I was disappointed with this one. It didn't seem like there was any chemistry.
3) Sometimes the acting was a little cheesy. But if you willed yourself you can look past it, and the movie still comes away amazing.
4) Superman's waning strength in certain situations. There are parts in the movie where he seems unstoppably strong. Then there seems to be a less threatening situation and he gets his tail handed to him. It just wasn't always consistent.
5) The Flow. I had issues with being slightly confused during scene transition. When SM turns himself in to the US Gov't he is being interviewed/ interrogated and then very quickly it switches to him and LL outside the compound awaiting Zod. There were a few other scenes like this too.
6) Motion Sickness! I loved the Special Effects! A lot of the time you are flying along with Superman and it's amazing!!! However, after the movie, my friends and I all felt a little sick to our stomachs. But it was WELL WORTH IT.
Honestly, this story line and Spec. Eff. made this movie. You spend a considerable time at the beginning of the movie on Krypton learning the back story. Although there are a lot of questions that you have to wait till the very end of the movie to figure out.
LADIES: If you are only semi-wanting to see this movie there is an incentive of seeing Henry Cavill shirtless! Not to mention you can drool over him the entire movie. Let's just say he is... 'Kinda hot.'
Overall I recommend this movie! Go see it with an open mind!
