A good movie to see with a 4 y/o or older. Interesting but not too scary. In the end it does portray fathers and fatherhood in a very positive light. The father character was well played by Nick Cage who did a great job of communicating the anxiety fatherhood brings in spite of the brutish strong exterior of the father. A good family movie.
