I really enjoyed the book and was excited to see the movie. I was disappointed with the acting and the way that they displayed Wanda's voice. The movie was way too condensed to the point where it felt rushed and lacked fluidity. Anyone who read the book knows how much was left out of the movie. Anyone who hasn't read the book would still be confused on how the feelings of the cast change so softly without proper explanation. That's the thing about making a movie based on a book. The reader is excited to see the story played out visually and is often disappointed when it doesn't turn out the way they thought it would.
