When I saw the trailer of this movie, I laughed because it look pretty stupid. Looked like another "sexytime cheesy horror flick". Opening night I decided to give it a try due the decent rating. This movie's first impression was horribly slow and bland. About 30 minutes in the movie, I had no idea what I was watching. The most terrifying thing about this movie you might ask? The ghastly murder of the English language. Even right at the beginning the F bomb was dropped about 4 times. I had no idea that certain words could be combined to make the script of this movie! I can't believe that movies like this make a sale. Are there any sane people in Hollywood left that aren't money hungry and are trying to cash cow on the horror flick genre? Obviously not. I can't believe that this movie got decent user review to begin with. I imagine that there must have been a hefty pay to try to cough up a review in order to get people to watch a movie this bad. I feel so stupid that I fell right into the trap that was this movie. It'll only get it's money opening weekend then when the word gets out that this movie is absolute trash, people will stop wasting their cash and time, and then the directors, producers, writers that come up with these godawful movies move on to the next moneyshot.
My final words? Leave the Horror genre to the crew of "Insidious" and " Dead Silence". Now those are real movies that will terrify you to the edge of your seat.
Pros good popcorn made it worthwhile.
