I was so excited to see this movie. Am absolutely in love with the book! I took my MIL to see it with me, she had not read the book. The movie itself was very hard to follow almost all scenes happening without any explanation. I knew what was going on from the book but my MIL couldn't follow it. At the end, she said she was waiting for it to get to the good part, and surprisingly, so was I. The acting for the most part was terrible although some of the artistic touches were amazing. It should have been made into a trilogy to add in more detail for someone who has not read the book.
