In this story of one extraordinary New Orleans couple's journey through Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath you can find both a riveting, sad and inspirational drama and some of the best answers to the questions:
What was it like to live through Katrina?
What is it like to grow up poor in an American city?
Where does hip hop come from?
How low has the government of the world's greatest democracy sunk?
Many may find that they've been contemptuous and afraid of the wrong people.
This movie doesn't preach or make an argument. It doesn't have to. It's hard not to put yourself in the protagonists' shoes, and in the process, become amazed and very angry.
