Fast-paced, good thriller. Faithful to the book, omitting only one (rather weak) part at the end of the book. Great cinema? No. Great writing (book)? No. But the book was a great page-turning mystery and the movie is just as good. Ignore the snobby reviews in the papers. It's entertainment, nothing pretentious about it. Just good summer fun.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
