Well I think people that have not read the series will enjoy this movie more than those of us that did. I think when you have read it you are a little more critical. My husband thought it was good and he hadn't read all 4 books like I have. Some moments of acting were questionable...and they cut so much of the love story connection out that you don't get near as sucked in to their love story as you do in the books. Overall the movie was pleasant. But if you never read another series you must read these 4 books. They will remind you of how it feels to love that way again, far too often we forget!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
