When I first saw the previews I was not planning on seeing the movie however I am glad that I did see it. The special effects were amazing and you really felt part of the movie with IMAX. The story line is like most movies but this was much better than Transformers.
Pros well paced, great actors
Cons same old story line

I thought this would be an OK film with big effects and little else Instead it had a good story, great action and kept my interest the entire time. The president in this movie seems to care about America much more than our real president. The limo car chase will go down as a classic.

great special effects, interesting story considering it has been told many times. this movie had a different twist. the special effects were some of the best I have ever seen esp on IMAX 3-D. If you see the movie pay a few extra bucks to see the IMAX 3-D it well worth it.

It was fun to see all these actors play themselves but the story was so pathetic it got old quickly and I was waiting for the end of the movie.

Weak story but very good special effects, maybe the next one should be a prequel to showing a very young John McClean and how he leads up to Die Hard 1 in LA. The current stories are over played, predictible and not that interesting considering the great special effects.
