GREAT cast, wonderful, honest story line. A movie about ANY adults in a retirement home could be very sad, especially when a main character has a stroke and/or suffers from dementia, but to have all 4 leads battling elder issues could be a recipe for a truly depressing movie. This story, however, celebrates aging despite the physical decay that goes along with it. Michael Gambon is a delight, Tom Courtenay does an amazing job and Maggie Smith is, as always, an absolute treasure.
