I thought 'another kids movie!' uggh! Let's face it -'Space Chimps?!' -here we go again. It was pretty funny and creative. Kids liked it. Even the 11yr old got laughs out of it. Same story of realizing your potential and succeeding.
I think Anonymous Reviewer from New Jersey with 1 star missed the entire point of the story. Yes, it is a politcal statement on our society (environment, obeseity, being entirely too entertained all the time, and life being too easy) but the entire story is that how just one person (or robot in this instance) can touch and change anyone he interacts with. It's that 'What one person can do' idea. Children need to get this idea that they can help in changing their world. I do agree that this film is for older children, I too took my 5yr old but he got some of it and laughed at some of it. If anything else sunk in (and our discussions after) than I am grateful.
