Although the movie does not follow the book exactly (neither did the first one), it was an exciting "see". I missed some of the actors from the first movie (notably Pierce Brosnan), the actors did a fairly good job and the interaction was fairly strong. Story line was good... and ...Dionysus' quip of XXXNOT GOING TO SAY ITXXX (you have to see the flick!) was VERY funny. Good writing. Thanks for the great pic!!
The special effects on mechanical "things" was very awesome.
Go see it... forget that it doesn't follow the book. It is a good movie anyway.

One of the funniest movies I have seen in a while. The movie made funny the idea of being buried in the ground with scorpions on your face - if that is possible. Silver (the horse) was hilarious, and the action was well-paced. There was shooting and people getting killed, but not a lot of blood and guts. The bad guy was bad -- I hated his curled upper lip, but after all he WAS the bad guy. This is a must-see... Johnny Depp at his funniest!
