This is by far not the best Die Hard. I even preferred the 4th movie over this one. The plot actually started out like it would be a really good movie. I liked where the story was going, but other factors kind of ruined the movie. The special effects were done well, but they were way over the top Die Hard is always over the top, but this one takes the cake in being unrealistic. I heard many people giggling throughout the movie at the ridiculousness of the action scenes. I wasn't expecting it to be realistic, but I also was not expecting the crazy over top action scenes in this film. Overall the movie was alright.
Pros well paced
Yes, I recommend this movie.
