Lincoln was an extraordinary movie & did not disappoint in any way! Every actor was perfectly cast & came through with shining colors - including Daniel Day-Lewis who BECAME Lincoln; Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones, James Spader, Jackie Earle Haley. The cinematography was incredible. The sounds of Abraham Lincoln's actual watch, carriage & others were recorded for inclusion in the film. Day-Lewis brought to life Lincoln as a President, devoted husband, loving father (including his mourning over the loss of his son Willie), humorous storyteller, lawyer & warrior of the cause to abolish slavery. I will watch this movie numerous times & will purchase it when it comes to DVD. Bravo Spielberg!!!!!!
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
