Okay, so I get that this is a James Bond movie. It had great action and special effects. As an overall viewing experience, it was better than the recent Bond movies, and was very satisfying. However, it could have...and should have been better. First off, the main villain fell far short of memorable Bond villains. Secondly there were any number of holes in the plot. And the title. Skyfall? The movie is named after Bond's ancestral home in the highlands of Scotland, which fact is not revealed until the last 10% of the movie, and is basically irrelevant anyway? Really? Technically this was a very well done movie. The action and chase scenes were terrific. But the plot could have been more solidly put together.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
