To me this was a retro Bond movie - a homage to the early ones from the Walther PPK to the lack of gadgets to the return of the Aston Martin. A good story with some nice complexity and twists. Javier Bardem was a very compelling bad guy. Daniel Craig is turning out to be the best Bond since Sean Connery. I liked it. The future of Bond is firmly in place.
