Great look and feel (as usual), but surprisingly not funny. A good story, just not a funny one. 3D version not very spectactual, but I guess everything cannot be "Avatar." My 11-yr old seemed to like it.
Good plot, well paced, lots of excitement, sense of humor for adults too.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Great storyline, visuals, 3D effects. A bit violent for the younger ones, but my 10 yr old handled it well. Yes, a bit preachy about indiginous peoples (like how North America was colonized), but I enjoyed it anyway.
I really enjoyed the movie. I liked the pairing of a new couple a lot and the choices that the gang had to make. Being strong and making the choice that is best for you was a really good message. This film showed friendship and sweet romance very well indeed. I got a little teary at one or two spots and I loved it. We went right out after the movie and bought the soundtrack. I loved 3 of the songs as soon as I heard them. I am sad the series is over. I would follow the gang again and again. Teenagers should expect this from their friends and should get it, Girls should be treated just as sweetly by their guys as well.
I have seen the movie a 100 times and the play once before. I love the story as you can tell. Seeing the show filmed from Broadway and knowing it was the last performance and live made it exciting. I cried at the sad parts and laughed at the funny ones. It was a great experience. My audience also luaghed out loud and clapped at times. I would go again if it wasn't a limited time showing. I will buy the dvd when it comes out. At the end of the show some old cast members came and took a bow. I enjoyed that as well. I am hoping for even more on the dvd................... It was a good time!
