Great movie. We currently have a polarized congress, as we did during the 1860's. The difference is our congress is beyond compromise; the House of Reps in the 1860's was willing to 'rumble' and 'mix.'
Creating the law is not pretty. We saw arm-twisting, name calling, bribery, threats, tears and the persuasion of conviction push through the 13th Amendment. Wish we'd see it in our current congress: it's needed to move us off the shoal we're stuck on!
This movie is motivating and informs us that all governments are horrid, but that the U.S.A. government is the 'Best of the Worst!' Pray for your representatives and your senators!
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
Yes, I recommend this movie.
