I love James Bond. I was amazed at how poor this movie was developed. If the second half of the movie is quadruple the anticipated glee of the first half, then I apologize. If you can make it to the second half of the movie, I commend. I wanted so badly to love this movie. Casino Royale with Daniel Craig as Bond was the best Bond movie yet. From dialogue to cinematography and the hard-ass that had long been been missed from Bond since Sean Connery; it was confounding. Quantum of Solace...well, never judge a book by its cover, but if you saw it then you already know it unfortunately was as bad as its movie title. This one is no different as you will find yourself trying to get entrenched only to find yourself gasping for air the more you try. Exhaustion sets in after you relinquish the reality that, "this just isn't going to ignite". Try all you may, but this movie has no substance sans special effects and the hope of a plot that should send said screenwriter back to the guild to discover skills likely never had. I am sad to write this and disappointed to walk out half way through. One should never have to "try" to be enthralled. Good movies draw you; you don't draw them. This one is inept and devoid of anything but patience for nothing.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
