Premise is "What if Sully Sullenberger was drunk when he landed on the Hudson" sort of ripoff story line. John Goodman's character is funny initially and then just sad. Denzel's acting is good but it is Kelly Reilly that really makes this film and steals the spotlight from the rest of the cast.
The initial scenes make it something you want to see on a big screen but it is hard to feel good about spending the movie house $ when most is staged in cockpit. motel rooms, a car and a farmhouse.
