The only critic's review I read made me wonder if this was going to be worth seeing-but I actually thought it was very good. Some people (not to be sexist, but my thought is men, particularly) would not find it as interesting after the first part (the plane crash is certainly "jump out of your seat" exciting). But the movie is really about the rest--about one man's descent, finally hitting bottom, and the end--not to spoil it--was very satisfying. Denzel was totally believable, as always.
Pros worth seeing
Yes, I recommend this movie.
