Entertaining but nothing more

Cameron Diaz shows that she really does have good comic timing and Tom Cruise keeps his Tom Cruise thing under control and the combination of these two things make the movie work, It's not the kind of movie that will make you think or leave you "humming that tune" but it's entertaining and funny,
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Not just a chick flick

Went to this movie on New Year's with my wife and two adult sons. We selected it because my wife really wanted to see it. Turns out that all four of us really enjoyed it. Excellent cast, good writing, and it showed family relationships in a very realistic and honest way. I would definitely recommend.

Better than expected

An excellent cast made this somewhat contrived plot enjoyable to watch. The players are very likable and, for the most part, you pull for them to work it all out.
This is not the movie of this year, or any year, but it passes the time pleasantly and leaves you with a good feeling at the end.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
