Ok, the first one was great, no doubt. The second one has it's moments but this is one bad movie. Bursts of lude can be downright hillarious but when that's all you have, then it starts to lose its impact and become both ridiculous and mildly offensive. To say that this is now officially overdone is an understatement. Save your money and rent this one, there are too many other great choices now and in the coming weeks.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I had the pleasure of seeing "The Fighter" this past weekend. Christian Bale blew me away with his performance. Mark Wahlberg and the rest of the cast performed superbly as well. The true life portrayal of this story was so spot on. It is gut wrenching to feel so engrossed in this story and the surroundings of this film. This drug has wrecked many lives and is devastating to many others. Just one great movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I thought with Matt Damon and Clint Eastwood on the same billing it had to be a homerun...I couldn't have been more wrong. The characters were well matched but the story just never really gets going and you can't help but wonder, did I just sit here for over two hours and got nothing? Some of the plots are heart wrenching. I can't remember being so ready for a movie to just be over. It's genre is Suspense/Thriller? If there was a catagory labeled depressing this would win hands down.
Martin Scorsese never disappoints. Even the accompanying music is spellbinding. Leonardo really brings his best work. The movie has a great story and you can rarely guess the next move. You may be scratching head at the end, it's great!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Valentine's Day

Clearly I was in a different movie than the others who saw this movie and liked it. It was horrible. A huge cast with no story. I'm sure all this cute stuff happens on someone's Valentine's Day, and based on the audience in our theater, guys will do anything to make their significant other happy on V-Day, myself included. This movie is cruel and unusual punishment. Hats off to all the couples who endured it.
I haven't even read any other reviews about this movie but I can safely say with no reservation that this movie must be one of the three worst I've ever seen. Clearly this is a sequel without a purpose. From the time the white horse shows up it just goes down hill from there. The killing is clearly all there is in this movie because the story is so non-excistant. Rob Zombie pushes the term bad movie to a whole new level with this one. Save yourself the money and the time, this does not even warrant a rental.
