This had a cute story line with a few funny "adult" humor items that were very clean and fun. Refreshing well done movie. THe 3D was a bit weak, but I'm not a huge 3D fan anyway.
I really feel that the audience this was based on was geared towared the kids who were little when Toy Story originally came out. This story line was more mature and some of the scenes could be scary for younger kids. My 2 boys and I loved the movie and would see it again!
Only one thing was very disappointing....the use of the F*#* word. Really in PG-13! My son looked at me and said MOM! WHY couldn't they just say foget them instead of that! Unappropriate and really soured my experience. Otherwise is was a great movie.
It seemed like almost all the good parts of the movie were shown in the commercials and trailers. The rest was just fill in with one surprise seen. Pretty unrealistic. Some laughs but overall just okay.
It is so refreshing to see a movie that doesn't have to use cuss words to make a point. A liked the fact too that Paul's daughter was not portrayed by a skinny beautiful have it all girl.
This movie was one that you don't want to get up and go to the restroom or go for a popcorn refill! It is a little hard to follow and if you leave I think you would be lost. Some very unappropriate items for a PG movie - flipping someone off - and several swear words that could have been left out. This is a fast paced movie that is scary. A family left during it because their kids were so scared. My husband who was a speed racer fan as a kid really enjoyed the movie.
