If you saw any of the trailers or commercials ahead of time, those were the funny parts. The rest of the movie was stupid and not funny!

Iron Man was excellent. Robert Downey Jr. did a fabulous job of playing a self-centered entrepreneur who gains some compassion the hard way. The movie is riveting from the very beginning but also had some comic relief.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
