Some New material, some Old...

NEW: Kirk's parents are introduced. Kirk's line (ST4 Voyage Home)"I'm from Iowa,I only work in Space."is given a twist.(NO SPOILERS). Uhura & Spock are "close".OLD: Romulans given a "makeover", not as much as the "Worf" Klingons.Christopher Pike as Kirk's mentor, is reintroduced to old fans as the Enterprise Captain.The new actors pay proper homage to their predecessors.Especially impressive is Karl Urban's McCoy. McCoy's character is difficult to master; Kirk's fiercely loyal companion & Spock's equally troublesome adversary. Simon Pegg (Sean of the Dead)is excellent as Scotty. It transitions well from ST NEMESIS with Spock as Romulan Ambassador. Also Kirk's childhood indiscretions & initial contact between Spock & Kirk... ENJOY!!!!
