We have loved this movie since my oldest (now 9) was 18 months old and wanted to watch it 24 hours a day. The scenery was beautiful and captivating for all ages even then; in 3D, it was just that much more so incredible to watch. All of us, ranging in age from 18 months to 37 years, kept our glasses on, ooh-ed and ahh-ed over the ocean, and just had a great time.
The 3D effects were not "in your face" as the movie was not designed to be presented in 3D; however, the impact of that third dimension on one's viewing experience was just as impressive as it in those movies designed to be seen through those special lenses.
Pros great story, beautiful illustrations
Yes, I recommend this movie.
