Good illustration of Detroit today. Exposes Detroit much like Slumdog Millionaire exposed the city of Mumbai; accurately and in its current reality. Detroit is 90% poverty, however, the producers, for balance and to put the movie in context, should have included or exposed a few of the perils : shopping on Saturday morning in Eastern Market, the Club scene that 59% of the young people that have moved back into the city are enjoying, the downtown sports venue (Lions, Tigers, Wings), DAC, DIA, Riverwalk, Slows BBQ, The London Chop House, MGM Casino. Not compelling enough to bring my generation back to live in the city as a white male that was raised and went to school in Detroit, but there is hope.
Pros well paced
Cons doubt anyone not from detroit will be interested
Yes, I recommend this movie.
